Your mission, roles and responsibilities
As a Finance Trainee, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the automotive industry. You will work closely with the Management Control and Finance teams, supporting key processes that help optimize costs, monitor performance, and improve decision-making. Your main responsibilities will include:
1. Support the preparation and analysis of management reports (monthly, quarterly) and monitor financial and operational KPIs;
2. Assist in monitoring production costs, identifying deviations and improvement opportunities;
3. Support budgeting and planning activities, including forecasting and variance analysis against the plan;
4. Participate in the profitability analysis of products, projects, or customers;
5. Assist in preparing presentations and dashboards for management and senior leadership;
6. Collaborate with production, quality, and purchasing teams to collect and validate data for reporting purposes;
7. Support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives and cost optimization projects;
8. Participate in specific projects analyzing factory productivity, efficiency, and performance;
9. Assist the team in verifying and reconciling financial and operational data;
10. Contribute to the digitalization and automation of reports and key indicators.
Your profile and competencies to succeed
We are looking for a proactive and analytical Finance Trainee to join our automotive team. The ideal candidate will be eager to develop practical skills in financial analysis, cost control, and performance monitoring in an industrial environment.
The ideal candidate should:
11. Be pursuing or have recently completed a degree in Industrial Engineering & Management, Economics, Business Management, or a related field;
12. Have strong analytical skills and attention to detail;
13. Be interested in management control, cost optimization, and management reporting;
14. Be comfortable working with data, Excel, and IT systems for analysis and reporting;
15. Demonstrate critical thinking and proactivity, with the ability to identify improvement opportunities;
16. Be able to work collaboratively in a team and within a matrix environment;
17. Have good communication skills and the ability to present insights clearly;
18. Be fluent in English (spoken and written).
