Detalhes - Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and occupational health regulations, including project approvals, safety assessments, on-site inspections
of occupational hazards, pollutant emissions, and management of solid, liquid, gaseous waste, and VOCs;
- Supervise and implement company-wide safety, health, environmental, and fire prevention policies across production and operational activities;
- Develop, implement, and monitor risk control mechanisms, safety management systems, and standard operating procedures for safe work practices;
- Conduct inspections of chemicals, precursor chemicals, and explosive substances to ensure safe handling and storage;
- Manage hazardous and solid waste disposal, maintain records, submit regulatory reports, and oversee environmental control equipment;
- Organize and conduct employee training on safety, chemical handling, explosives, and specialized equipment, and maintain training records;
- Oversee and inspect specialized equipment and monitor compliance with waste and emissions management protocols.
Requisitos - "Técnico Superior de Segurança no Trabalho" – officially certified by the Portuguese Authority for Working Conditions (ACT);
- Accredited training in "Segurança Contra Incêndios em Edifícios", regulated by ANPC will be welcome;
- Over three years of relevant experience, with strong knowledge of EHS-related laws, regulations, and standards;
- Familiarity with the operation and monitoring of environmental facilities, hazardous waste treatment processes, and management requirements for hazardous chemicals;
- Knowledge of management systems such as ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, understanding of risk assessment methods, and ability to independently identify environmental factors and conduct risk evaluations.
