Engineer | Configuration Management and Configuration Control

This opportunity for an Engineer | Configuration Management and Configuration Control - ARL (m/f/d) will be integrated into the Aeronautics area team.
* Develop tools/methodologies to support the configuration management process.
* Ensure compliance of processes with the configuration management plan and rules.
* Control of Part Number attributes, effectivities, and lifecycle.
* Coordinate and track product changes and control respective documents (Engineering Orders, Change Requests) during the lifecycle.
* Establish a product structure tree for the different industrialization and certification steps, with support from other areas.
* Identify issues and propose improvements to meet configuration requirements.
* Provide the manager with any requested information for planning, execution, or control of technical activities such as:
o The activities’ plan definition and the reporting and tracking of project tasks’ status;
o Provide work estimates and projections;
o Alert to potential problems, deviations, and needs.
* Prepare and accompany quality audits to established configuration processes.
* Generate project reports and any other relevant certification documentation.
* Academic background in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautics, Mechanics, or equivalent.
* Proven experience with product configuration management.
* Previous experience working with PLM tools (Enovia VPM, Teamcenter), MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), ERP (SAP), or similar.
* Good programming skills in C++, Python, and VBA.
* Good knowledge of materials and production techniques.
* Hands-on experience with CAD software (CATIA, Siemens Nx) is a plus.
* Good interpersonal skills to work within a diverse team, in rigorous and demanding projects, where analytical and critical thinking as well as problem-solving skills are essential.
