KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Sales Strategy & Operations:
2. Develop and implement a structured sales strategy tailored to the ingredients trading business.
3. Set up and report on sales KPIs to monitor performance and identify growth opportunities.
4. Manage customer accounts and foster long-term relationships with manufacturers in the food, pharma, nutraceuticals, and beverage industries.
1. Market Development:
2. Identify new business opportunities and market trends to expand the customer base.
3. Represent the company at industry events, trade fairs, and conferences.
1. Sourcing & Product Development:
2. Support sourcing of customized ingredients not currently in the portfolio.
3. Collaborate with internal teams to meet client-specific product requirements.
4. Build and manage a high-performing sales team.
5. Provide training and mentorship to ensure team alignment with company goals.
1. Data Analysis & Reporting:
2. Utilize advanced Excel tools for forecasting, reporting, and performance tracking.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's degree or previous experience in Sales, Business Administration, Trade, or related fields.
- Successful experience as a sales representative or manager, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
- Fluency in English; European languages are a plus.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools.
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from planning to closing.
- Strong business acumen and industry expertise.
- Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills.
