Job Responsibilities
The responsibilities include collecting and reviewing employee information and working hours, calculating wages, preparing and processing employee payments, and maintaining accurate payroll records. A payroll specialist should be able to investigate and resolve payroll issues and ensure strict compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Your challenges will be:
* Manage pre-payroll, on-cycle payroll, and off-cycle payroll processes.
* Prepare and upload the payroll transfer list to the banking system; validate payroll results and provide approvals for final pay credits based on control reports.
* Conduct annual payroll reconciliation and prepare for the new payroll year.
* Manage advance payments.
* Identify, report, mitigate, and track risks in the payroll delivery process.
* Support employee and manager queries.
* Enter data into payroll and administrative databases and software programs.
* Maintain accurate records of payroll documentation and transactions.
* Prepare and distribute income and earning statements.
* Respond to payroll-related inquiries and resolve concerns.
* Perform payroll reconciliations.
* Prepare periodic payroll reports for authorities and management.
* Manage electronic timekeeping systems or manually review timesheets.
* Calculate payable hours, bonuses, tax withholdings, social security, and deductions.
* Maintain employee records, including new hires, internal promotions, and annual salary reviews.
* Manage all payment tasks related to employees abroad.
* Coordinate with the HR department to ensure accurate employee data.
* Prepare payroll journal entries and send them to bookkeeping.
* Participate in providing data to auditors.
* Manage time attendance/payroll software implementations professionally.
* Provide administrative support to the Finance Department.
The successful candidate will have:
* Education: Degree in business administration, finance, or accounting, preferably with specialization in payroll.
* Knowledge of relevant legal regulations and labor legislation.
* Experience with different shift payments.
* At least 5 years of experience in a payroll office.
* Experience participating in or managing new payroll/time attendance system projects.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and payroll software programs.
* Knowledge of Time Keeping Systems.
* Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Good time management and organizational skills.
* Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
* High personal ownership of responsibilities.
* Effective communication skills across all organizational levels.
* High integrity.
