The Cluster HR Manager will be responsible for Hyatt Regency Lisbon and Sheraton Cascais Resort providing a consistent, comprehensive, and cooperative services by overseeing the HR strategic planning for staffing, ensure the implementation of HR policies and procedures that align with the company ´s goals and objectives.
This person will play a crucial role in fostering a positive work culture, managing employee relations, and supporting the talent development initiatives.
The Cluster HR Manager will lead and direct the routine functions of the department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.
Responsibilities Accountable for talent acquisition, succession/workforce planning, performance management and development.
Coaching/developing others to help influence and execute business objectives in the most efficient manner.
Creates value through proactive approaches that will affect performance outcome or control cost.
Leads the assessment of properties leadership pipeline through the human capital review process and assists with follow-up.
Translates business priorities into properties Human Resources strategies, plans and actions.
Implements and sustains Human Resources initiatives at the properties.
Coordinates the human capital review process at properties and leads succession planning activities on property and in the market, as appropriate.
Monitors effective use of HR tools by managers and employees.
Leads and participates in succession management and workforce planning.
Serves as key change manager for initiatives that have high employee impact.
Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the overall business objectives.
Provide guidance to senior management on HR-related matters and contribute to strategic decision-making.
Foster a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns, grievances, and promoting effective communication.
Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations across all locations.
Requirements Knowledge of people, organization, and culture building practices.
Ability to multitask and manage priorities.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Friendly and outgoing personality.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Demonstrated strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Qualifications Degree or bachelor's in human resources management or psychology.
3-5 years' experience previous experience in the function.
Proven experience as an HR Manager or in a similar senior HR role, preferably in a multi-location setting.
Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
Good communication skills in English and Portuguese (written and spoken).
