Primary Objective Of The Position
The Abbott Ambassador is responsible for driving sales efforts for Diagnostics and optimizing Abbott systems utilization to maximize profitability and improve customer satisfaction.
Major Accountabilities
* Full responsibility for sales quota including forecasting and target performance achievement within the region
* Drive profitable growth by initiating, developing and/or delivering unique diagnostics solutions that result in improved outcomes and benefits for both the customer and Abbott
* Develop sales planning for own area of responsibility
* Analyze sales, market and competitive data to develop sales strategy
* Analyze impact of market trends and factors on customers
* Support new product launches, evaluate market potential
* Monitor, measure and report progress against defined execution goals
* Build sustainable customer relationships and leverage them to drive profitable new sales
* Optimize Abbott systems utilization to maximize profitability and improve customer satisfaction
* Support service team to maximize uptime by providing troubleshooting as appropriate
Educational background
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. Bachelor's degree in life sciences or medical technology is preferred
Requirements / Work Experience
* Proven track record in a similar position supported by management and customer references
* Strong commercial experience, commercially driven
* Collaborative enterprise thinking
* Strong solution selling and relationship building skills
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
* Ability to identify and drive resolution of issues
