The Finance Hotel Business Partner Manager is a strategic leadership role within the finance department,responsible for providing financial support and guidance to the hotel management team. This position will work closely with hotel operations, senior management, and corporate finance teams to drive profitability, operationalefficiency, and business growth. The FHBP Manager will ensure that financial and operational objectives align with overall business strategies while providing critical insights and analysis to optimize financial performance
Main duties & Responsibilities
* Finance Business Partner supports the General Manager of the hotel in all operating decisions that require analysis, including building up business cases.
* Monitoring hotel accruals and accurate review of month-end closings as prepared by the Accounting and Reporting.
* Discuss and communicate to the General Manager all the relevant topics of the legal entity he/she is a member of the Board, this includes, but is not limited to Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash-flow, Compliance-related topics.
* Budgeting and rolling-forecast preparation, implementation and monitoring mainly at Hotel GOP level, including raising initiatives for measurable productivity enhancement. Identification and anticipation of trends towards mitigating actions when needed. Linkage between operation decision and NPS impact.
* Implementation of SIG SOPs at hotel level.
* Liaison and interface between the Operations team in‑resort and the other Finance Centers of Excellence, including but not limited to FinOps, Accounting & Reporting and others.
Qualifications / Other Accreditations
* University degree in Economics, Finance or Business Administration. Professional qualification (e.g., CFA, ACCA, CPA).
* Proven experience as a Finance Analyst, Finance Business Partner, Commercial Finance, or Performance Improvement role or Ass Director of Finance or Financial Controller 2-3 years prior experience.
* Prior experience in hotels as well as good knowledge of USALI would be a plus.
* Knowledge: of local regulations and taxation (VAT issues, Income tax and withholding taxes), MS Office, particularly Excel & PPT, ERPs and Basic to intermediate competency in analytics tools such as Business Objects, Power BI, or similar.
* Fluency in English, Spanish and Portuguese

The ideal candidate would be based in Portugal, working 3 days/week in Faro during high season. The first year would be living in Baleares Islands (Spain) for training and after this period he/she will relocate back to Portugal.
