This role challenges its owner to work quickly and effectively. We are looking for a skilled and passionate Data Warehouse & BI Engineer to join our Data team. This role will bridge the gap between data analysis and data science, playing a pivotal role in the design, development, and optimization of our data architecture. You will be responsible for translating business and analytical needs into logical data models, implementing efficient ETL processes, and ensuring that our data warehouse and data marts are robust, scalable, and insightful. Your work will directly support decision-making across the organization, enabling data-driven insights through modern BI tools.The ideal candidate is collaborative and motivated, loves solving problems and wants to contribute towards an inspiring mission, which has been quickly growing over the past years.ResponsibilitiesDesign and maintain logical data models and architectures for the enterprise data warehouse and data marts.Develop and optimize ETL pipelines using tools such as SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and modern orchestration techniques.Work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective data solutions.Implement and support reporting and dashboard solutions using Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across the data warehouse ecosystem.Analyze data for ad-hoc requests;EducationGraduate in Computer Science, Business Intelligence or similar;Certifications in ETL, Power Bi, SCRUM (and others) is a big plus;Skills & KnowledgeProven experience in data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL development.Strong hands-on experience with SSIS and SSAS.Proficiency in SQL and performance tuning of large datasets.Working knowledge of Power BI for creating reports and dashboards.Nice to have experience with Data Vault architecture;Understanding of data governance, data quality, and data security concepts.ExperienceUp to 2-year of experience;Up to 2-year working specifically in BI, data warehousing, and ETL development .; Demonstrated experience in designing end-to-end BI solutions (from data ingestion to reporting).Nice-to-Have:Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure Synapse, Snowflake, or Big Query).Familiarity with Python, R, or similar scripting languages for advanced data processing.Exposure to data science tools and collaboration with machine learning pipelines.Why join Simplifae?
