Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Automation & Data Quality Engineer to join our team. In this hybrid role, based in the Greater Aveiro Area with some flexibility to work from home, you will focus on driving and implementing quality assurance processes while leveraging automation tools. You will design, test, and improve data quality solutions, ensure compliance with quality standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain the highest level of product excellence. Develop robust data ingestion and normalization pipelines using ETL and ELT methodologies. Create automated mechanisms for detecting and correcting duplicate records. Implement comprehensive data quality scoring systems and monitoring dashboards. Ensure seamless interoperability between CRMs, external databases, and internal dashboards. Collaborate on implementing certification policies and data governance best practices.
Qualifications
Demonstrate strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and API integrations.
Possess hands-on experience with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS, alongside automation libraries.
Strong experience in Quality Control and assurance of data workflows and systems
Proficiency in Quality Assurance processes, ensuring compliance with established standards and guidelines
Understanding of Quality Management practices for monitoring performance and ensuring continuous improvement
Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on detail and precision
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
Previous experience in an AI, SaaS, or data-driven organization is a plus
Hold a certification in data quality and security, is highly valued for this role.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
