Experis, a global leader in talent management solutions, is currently recruiting a Tax Operations Analyst for a client located in Lisbon.Key Responsibilities:- Actively monitor and oversee tax processes across the division's international investment structures, ensuring consistency, robustness, and adherence to internal standards and legal requirements.
- Coordination of multinational tax-related projects, including supporting the implementation of new legislation in collaboration with dedicated subject matter experts (e.G. EU-law based tax initiatives such as e.G. VAT developments or similar cross-border regulatory changes).
- Serve as a central point of competence for national operations, providing technical support and guidance on international tax and banking documentation requirements (e.G. W-8BEN-E forms, CRS self-certifications, and comparable documentation).
- Key role in rolling-out of tools with divisional impact.
- Operational lead for international data-gathering exercises related to tax, regulatory, and corporate structures, including the preparation and coordination of information required across jurisdictions.
- Support and coordinate international corporate housekeeping activities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with divisional requirements.
- Demonstrate a strong willingness to develop technical expertise in international tax areas, including transfer pricing, DAC6 reporting obligations, and emerging supranational tax initiatives at EU, OECD or comparable multilateral levels.
- Act as the internal point of coordination for Portuguese tax matters, ensuring transparency, proper escalation, and alignment with divisional-level tax governance.
Monitor and oversee the domestic tax filing status in Portugal, coordinating closely with external professional service providers to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant filings.Requirements:- Bring an academic or professional background in tax, accounting, finance, or legal/compliance disciplines; a narrowly defined specialisation is not required at this stage.
- Gradually develop into a specialist for multinational tax process–related topics, demonstrating a strong willingness to learn, adapt, and deepen expertise in response to evolving regulatory landscapes.
- Ability to understand and analyse financial statements (e.G., balance sheets, P&L, financial data structures).
- Strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail, with the ability to work with multi-jurisdictional information and regulatory requirements.
- Competence in working with data-driven processes, including data validation, structuring and interpretation.
- Strong proficiency with IT tools and a willingness to become a superuser of tax-related systems and platforms (e.G., tax compliance tools, documentation workflows, reporting systems).
- Good understanding (or willingness to develop) of international tax topics such as transfer pricing basics, DAC6/MDR, CRS/FATCA documentation, and EU/OECD initiatives.
