What you will do
As Specialist IS / Technology Business Analyst, you’ll work at the intersection of science, data, and innovation. You’ll collaborate with extraordinary experts across domains to build high-impact digital solutions that accelerate research, streamline operations, and empower better patient outcomes.
* You will collaborate with our Business and technical team to maintain an efficient and consistent process, ensuring quality deliverables from the team.
* Work with Product Managers and customers to define scope and value for new developments
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data product enhancement opportunities
* Perform data analysis, troubleshoot issues, and support system implementation and maintenance
* Facilitate the breakdown of Epics into Features and Sprint-Sized User Stories and participate in backlog reviews with the development team
* Clearly express features in User Stories/requirements so all team members and stakeholders understand how they fit into the product backlog
* Develop and implement effective product demonstrations for internal and external collaborators
* Maintain accurate documentation of business requirements, users stories, processes, and changes
* Document and report defects and issues identified during testing, and work with development teams to resolve them
* Maintain and ensure the quality of documented user stories/requirements in tools such as Jira

* Master’s degree with 4 - 6 years of experience in Life Science/Biotechnology/Pharmacology/Information Systems
* 2+ years of relevant experience in a DevOps environment and Agile mindset
* Proficiency in tools or technologies such as Data Lake and Data Integration technologies
* Knowledge of ETL tools: Experience in ETL tools – preferably cloud-based like Informatica, Data bricks
* A passion for applying technology to make a real-world impact
* Fluency in English
* Expertise in a scientific domain area and related technology
* Experience with writing user requirements and acceptance criteria
* Proven analytical, data-driven problem-solving skills
* Excellence in interpersonal skills, multitasking, persuasion, negotiation of critical issues, attention to detail, and understanding of business complexity
* Ability to work in a team environment, effectively interacting with others
* Ability to meet deadlines and schedules and be accountable
* Functional Skills
* Experience in writing requirements for development of modern technology
* Knowledge of Agile project management systems such as JIRA
* Experience in managing product features for PI planning and developing product roadmaps and user journeys
* Testing and validating user stories delivered are corresponding to business expectation
* Superb communication and collaboration skills
* Able to communicate technical or complex subject matters in business terms
Good-to-Have Skills
* Jira Align & Confluence experience
* Experience of DevOps, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery methodology
Soft Skills
* Able to work under minimal supervision
* Excellent analytical and gap/fit assessment skills
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to work effectively with global, virtual teams
* High degree of initiative and self-motivation
* Ability to manage multiple priorities successfully

Technical Skills
* ETL tools: Experience in ETL tools – preferably cloud-based like Informatica, Data bricks
* Redshift or equivalent cloud-based dB
* Big Data, Analytics, Reporting, Data Lake, and Data Integration technologies
* S3 or equivalent storage system
* AWS (similar cloud-based platforms)
* BI Tools (Tableau preferred)
