Role Overview
We are looking for aSite Reliability Engineer (SRE)to join one our Nearshore Teams working for international clients accross The Netherlands and other European countries.
You will support the design, operation, and evolution of highly reliable, resilient, and scalable platforms.
You will work on ensuring the stability and performance of business-critical services, with a strong focus on automation, observability, cloud infrastructure, and operational excellence.
What you will do
Design and implement SLOs/SLIs, error budgets, alerting strategies, and reliability-focused KPIs;
Manage and improve incident response, on-call practices, post-mortems, and operational runbooks;
Work across Azure, Linux systems, Kubernetes/OpenShift and containerized environments to ensure platform stability and performance;
Develop and maintain automation pipelines using Terraform, Ansible, Azure DevOps, and scripting languages (Python/Bash/PowerShell);
Implement and maintain policy-as-code, security baselines, secrets management, and vulnerability remediation processes;
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product reliability, drive operational excellence, and influence technical roadmaps.
What you are like
Proficient in Reliability & Operations, with strong experience in SLO/SLI design, resilience engineering, chaos testing, and structured post-mortems;
Skilled in Platforms & Systems, including Linux, Kubernetes/OpenShift, cloud platforms (Azure), networking fundamentals, storage, databases, and HA/DR strategies;
Experienced inDelivery & Automation, particularly with Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD, GitOps, and automation-driven approaches;
Knowledgeable in Security, Risk & Compliance, including identity & access practices and vulnerability management frameworks;
Strong communicator, able to work collaboratively, document effectively, and influence engineering teams;
Comfortable with a helicopter view of complex systems, while also having expert depth in at least one technical domain;
Capable of applying AI-assisted tooling and automation in operational or engineering workflows;
Hold relevant certifications such as AZ-104, EX280, EX200, CKA, CKAD, Terraform, Ansible, AZ-400, and EX188, or demonstrate equivalent practical proficiency.
