Job Description
TheRollout Managerwill play a critical role in leading the globalLIMS migrationandstandardizationacross SGS laboratories, ensuring seamless alignment with theDigital Labs corporate rollout strategy.
This is a highly strategic andleadership-focused rolewith a key focus on managingLIMS-related projectsacross more than 30 active projects worlwide.
The person in this role will be managing a team of28, including4 direct reports (team leads), and will support our labs globally with foucus inEuropeandAsia, adapting work schedules when necessary to ensure continuous support and project delivery.
Primary Responsibilities:

Lead and maintain the globalstandardizationofLIMS system configurations(core tests, regulatory limits, pricing, QC masks, and reference data).
Define and enforcegovernancefor global system setups and configurations to align with corporate objectives.
Overseeactive LIMS migration projects, ensuring timely and successful implementation across multiple labs.
Act as theLIMS rollout stream representativein various cross-functional meetings and working groups.
Mentor and coachlocal LIMS superusersanddeployment teams, ensuring knowledge transfer and efficient project execution.
Supportprocess gap analysesfor new laboratories or identified business processes.
Review specifications, includingBOSS interfaces,security,roles,global naming conventions, andglobal reports, for alignment with the LIMS framework.
Drive the resolution ofLIMS-related technical issues, coordinating with relevant technical teams.
Maintain an inventory of products ready for implementation, includingreports,EDDs, andsystem interfaces.
Specific Responsibilities:

LeadLIMS migration efforts, focusing on the successful transition of SGS labs toLIMS, with specific expertise inSTARLIMS.
Manage the migration of labs acrossEUandAsia, adapting schedules and priorities based on time zone differences.
Leverage strongleadershipandpeople managementskills to oversee a large team and drive project success.
Effectivelycommunicate,negotiate, and managestakeholder expectations, includingIT developers,lab experts,business users, andmanagers.
Qualifications
Degree in Computer Science,Information Technology, or a relevant field.
At least5 yearsof hands-on experience withSTARLIMSand a total of at least12 yearsinLIMS-related roles.
Proven expertise inLIMS system implementationandproject managementin an international environment.
Strongleadership skills, with experience managing large teams and developing leadership talent.
StrongLIMS tool knowledge, with the ability to apply solutions and tools to business needs.
Fluent inEnglish;
additional language skills are a plus.
Technical Skills:

Deep understanding ofLIMS processes, including end-to-end laboratory workflows (from order confirmation to reporting and invoicing).
Expertise inanalytical testing,instrumentation, andtesting report generation.
Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:

Ability toanalyzeandsynthesize complex issuesand identify alternative solutions.
Performroot cause analysisand resolve issues efficiently.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills:

Excellentverbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate across various stakeholders.
Strongteam playercapable of building relationships and fostering collaboration in a global, cross-functional environment.
Other Skills and Qualities:

Adherence to SGSethics,standards, andintegrity.
Ability to think logically and methodically with a focus on solutions.
Flexibility to travelas needed (around20%).
Knowledge ofSGS cultureis advantageous for effective collaboration.
