Job Description
Team presentation and main goal: Metrics Calculation & Reporting (MC&R) is a department within Natixis Financial Department responsible for the calculation and the related internal & external reporting of metrics on solvency (Risk Weighted Assets, Large Exposure, Leverage ratio), ALM & liquidity and granular reporting (e.g. ANACREDIT and ANATITRES).
The department is organized by area of expertise, with a team in charge of the computation of solvency metrics, one for ALM & Liquidity metrics and a team in charge of Regulatory reporting. You will be joining the Regulatory Reporting team which initially organized in 2 teams, Periodic reporting and Prudential reporting, and work in an extended team with Paris.
Main Tasks And Goals
As the team leader of Regulatory Reporting, you will lead, manage and merge the two teams (Periodic and Prudential), 16 FTE, into a single unified structure, ensuring the continuity, accuracy and timeliness of all regulatory submissions to French and European Regulators. Build a cohesive team, harmonize processes and secure high quality deliverables for regulators (Banque de France, European Central Bank) and internal stakeholders. You will oversee:
* Full management and team development, monitoring and reporting the team’s performance against KPIs, recruitment succession planning, and knowledge transfer.
* Training of recruits in coordination with Paris/Porto experts and process owners to enable handover of regulatory reporting from Paris to Porto.
* Implementation of the 1.1 controls framework during end-of-month, end-of-quarter, end-of-year closings and in between closings.
* Production process of Regulatory Reporting, including: COREP, PILAR 3, RUBA, PROTIDE, ANACREDIT, ANATITRES.
You will be in charge of some reports and will coordinate with Paris colleagues to ensure smooth production.
Additional Information
The position is key to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in terms of quality and accuracy of reporting and adherence to regulatory milestones for submissions. It involves frequent interactions with Paris management and occasional travel. English is the working language; knowledge of French is a valuable asset for liaising with Paris, Banque de France, etc. The manager will work closely with Risks, Financial Control, Financial Communication, Front Office, and IT teams.
Qualifications
* Master’s Degree from a Business School or University related to Finance.
* Management experience.
* Solid understanding of Prudential Frameworks (Basel III, CRR).
* Strong knowledge of reporting requirements; European Banking Regulatory Reporting.
* Experience in Risk Management; prior banking or financial industry experience with regulatory reporting.
* Data manipulation skills; Power BI; MS Office.
* Fluent in English; French is a big plus.
