Role Description
This is a full-time, Accountant role based in Lisbon. As an Accountant at Tally, you will be responsible for helping Tally's clients preparing and analyzing financial reports, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with local tax regulations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, support budgeting and forecasting processes, and assist in maintaining accurate and organized financial records. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of accounting principles and an interest in leveraging technology for efficiency.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in financial reporting, bookkeeping, and general ledger management
* Strong knowledge of tax regulations, compliance standards, and internal auditing
* Proven expertise in accounting software and financial tools
* Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
* Excellent organizational and time-management capabilities
* Effective communication and collaboration skills
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
* CPA or relevant professional qualification is a plus
* Familiarity with AI-powered accounting tools is highly desirable
* Fluency in English; knowledge of Portuguese or additional languages is an advantage
