Responsibilities
* Design and evolve the core backend of our Charging Management Platform
* Lead end-to-end technical initiatives, from system architecture to rollout
* Set engineering standards, review critical decisions, and mentor fellow developers
* Collaborate with product, engineering leads, and functional teams
* Ensure our services are secure, robust, and capable of scaling with demand
* We follow Agile principles (Scrum), value thoughtful execution, and prioritize clean, maintainable solutions over long-term workarounds.
What are we looking for?
* At least 8 years of software engineering experience, primarily in backend development.
* Advanced knowledge of Python and Django, with strong API and platform experience.
* Demonstrated leadership in architecture and technical mentoring.
* Portugal based (mandatory).
Nice to have:
* Experience with the following tools: AWS, Terraform, Ansible and/or Grafana.
* Understanding of EV and mobility standards (e.g., OCPI, OCPP).
