About the job
Trade & Revenue Management (TRM) Team are Commercial Challengers, stepping in to accelerate self-care simplification. The Trade and Revenue Operations Associate position is part of the Western Europe (WEU) TRM Team reporting to WEU Zone TRM Head and working closely with the different markets with a focus on Iberia.
Job Purpose
Create Value by driving higher efficiency and creating better data visibility through tools/dashboards across the full spectrum of TRM levers (G2N, Pricing, Pack/Price architecture, Channel / Product Mix) for the different TRM leads, especially in Iberia. He/she will also support in defining/refining strategies in Iberia based on derived insights.
Main responsibilities
Drive key TRM pillars:
* Commercial policy : support TRM Iberia to design optimum Commercial Policy to drive best in class activation of Opella brands across different channels, while meeting GTN targets and maximizing Pay-for-Performance approach
* Gross to net : Conduct regular G2N controls and analysis in Portugal or Spain, taking into account the channel and brand mix to ensure G2N targets are respected
* Pricing: monitor competitor price moves and drive price increase initiatives leveraging defined pricing strategy (price index vs competitors)
* Commercial and customer performance: Responsible for monitoring commercial and/or customer performance, including annual agreements and those linked to incentives (sales targets and/or customers' pay for performance), as well as seasonal campaigns to understand the uplift they deliver
* Accruals management: Actively review and manage accruals through performance monitoring and requests issuance of credit notes and/or accrual releases
Contribute to Country Operational Efficiency
* Supported by TRM Iberia, lead Sales Out to Sales In translation as part of Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process to ensure robust Net Sales and Stock in Trade assumptions
About You:
* Education – bachelor's/master's degree in business / finance / analytics.
* Experience : At least 2 years previous work experience in revenue management, finance and/or commercial ideal. FMCG / consumer healthcare / consultancy background also ideal.
* Soft skills : High learning agility. Ability to challenge and drive change. Ability to easily extract insight from data to feed into compelling commercial strategies. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; team player.
* Technical skills : Strong analytical skills & Excel expertise; Power BI is a plus.
* Languages : Fluent in English; Portuguese or Spanish a plus.
