Project Assurance Consultant is accountable to ensure the project/programme adheres to the Hitachi best practice and agreed programme governance policies and processes documented in project/programme charter.• The Project Assurance Consultant will be accountable for the accurate contribution to one or more projects depending on the size and complexity of projects.• Ensure that all internal published controls and processes are followed.• Ensure that all internal project reports are prepared and distributed as per the published schedule.Key Responsibilities• Responsible for developing and maintaining project management standards, processes, and guidelines according to Hitachi's Consensus methodology by providing governance and oversight of the entire project portfolio.• Responsible for supporting the project management team in creating and maintaining project plans, schedules, and budget and contributes to the success and accuracy of financial reporting by validating project timesheets and updating financial records.• Responsible for facilitating the provision of structured delivery models and their various phases and will be certified in Consensus Foundation Methodology.• Supports the construction and review of project plans, can interpret key tasks, dependencies, and milestones from a Microsoft Project Plan perspective.• Provides administrative support service to Project Managers and Project Directors, taking responsibility for the delivery of specific deliverables within the project governance.• Responsible for tracking project progress and providing regular reports to project stakeholders by developing communication plans, creating project documentation, and facilitating meetings and presentations.• Responsible for providing direction and assistance to project teams regarding best practices and the Consensus methodology.• Tracks and monitors the development of the project and assists in the identification, analysis, and management of project risks.• Responsible for providing provide background information to support dialogue with customers.
