The Business Development Specialist will foster and enhance profitable commercial relationships with customers and suppliers, identify key decision makers, and build strong customer and supplier connections.
* Foster and strengthen profitable commercial relationships with customers and suppliers.
* Identify the key decision makers and decision-making process in the customer's buying organization.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for the customers within your area of responsibility.
* Build and maintain long-lasting customer and supplier relationships.
* Create leads related to the assigned accounts and manage the opportunity process from identification to conversion.
* Recognize sales opportunities.
* Prioritize opportunities of the assigned accounts and coordinate with marketing and sourcing.
* Shorten the sales cycle of the assigned accounts.
* Gather market insights and customer feedback.
* Promote our value proposition, collect and provide structured customer feedback.
* Plan regular visits to customers, suppliers, and participate in relevant commercial events according to the account plan.
* Ensure timely product launches for customers, with suppliers.
* Create and manage yearly customer account plans.
* Monitor progress of yearly account plans and assess risks and opportunities.
* Communicate clearly the progress of initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
* Develop business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to exceed sales targets.
* Prepare reports on account status.
