We are looking for anApplication Support Engineerto handle Tier 2/3 support for the ESG platform, support observability POCs (Grafana stack on OpenShift), and collaborate with the ITSM monitoring team.
What you would do:
Provide Tier 2/3 support for the ESG application, including troubleshooting and deployments across environments (CER, QLY, PRD);
Automate tasks and deployments using GitLab, Ansible, and participate in weekly release reviews;
Support the observability POC (Grafana Mimir, Loki, Alloy) on OpenShift using Helm and GitLab CI;
Contribute to the migration of Grafana Central to OpenShift and suggest improvements in IaC (Terraform, Ansible);
Collaborate with the ITSM team using tools like OBM, SiteScope, Prometheus, and Python scripts for automation;
Coordinate withdevelopers, QA, and external vendors to resolve issues and ensure platform stability.
What you need to bring:
Solid experience inapplication or platform support(Tier 2/3);
Experience withGit (GitLab)andAnsiblefor deployment and automation;
Familiarity withIBM Cloudor hybrid cloud environments;
Strong hands-onexperience withOpenShiftorKubernetes;
Understanding ofGrafana stack(Mimir, Loki, Alloy) and monitoring tools;
Proficiency in Linux environments;
Good scripting ability withPython;
Experience withCI/CD pipelines(GitLab CI) andHelm;
Basic knowledge ofTerraformand infrastructure configuration;
Excellent communication skills inEnglish(written and spoken).
Nice to Have:
Exposure toITILprocesses;
Experience withmonitoring platforms (OBM, OO, SiteScope);
Basic understanding of networking concepts;
Knowledge ofWindows,AIX, andmulti-platform environments;
Familiarity withInfluxDBandApache Airflow.
