Description
1. End-to-End Application Lifecycle Management:
Assume full ownership of assigned Mendix applications, from initial business requirements analysis and solution design through development, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
Proactively monitor application health, perform troubleshooting, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement performance optimizations.
Provide expert third-level support for complex issues, acting as the final point of escalation.
2. Quality Assurance & Documentation Excellence:
Design and execute comprehensive testing strategies, including unit, integration, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Create and meticulously maintain all technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and detailed user manuals.
Develop and deliver effective training programs for end-users and first-/second-level support teams to ensure smooth adoption and operation.
3. Strategic Contribution & Ecosystem Integration:
Collaborate with product owners and business stakeholders to support product strategy and roadmap development.
Design and model business processes and scenarios to evaluate potential enhancements and new features.
Architect and ensure robust, seamless integration of Mendix applications with key internal and external systems, with a primary focus on SAP and other enterprise platforms.
Minimum requirements
Must-Haves:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field.
5+ years of professional experience in software development, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in building, managing, and deploying Mendix applications (Mendix Advanced or Expert certification is a strong plus).
Proven experience in gathering business requirements, translating them into functional/technical specifications, and managing stakeholder communication.
Demonstrable experience with integrating platforms, especially with SAP (via REST/SOAP APIs, SAP Cloud Platform, or middleware).
Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual thinking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex topics to both technical and non-technical audiences.
