We are looking for a C++ Developer to join us in Porto (3 times a week in the office).
Responsibilities
The role involves developing, maintaining, and improving core application components, primarily in C++.
The developer will work independently, organise work using JIRA, manage source control, and ensure high-quality, well-tested code.
Close collaboration with stakeholders is required to understand business needs and translate them into clear technical tasks and release plans.
Requirements
Strong communication skills and disciplined development practices are essential.
Several years of experience with C++;
Strong experience in scripting in Python and Shell
Proficient with source control tools such as Git
Experience with JIRA and task management
Ability to translate business needs into technical tasks
Solid application management and workflow ownership
Commitment to clean code, testing, and stable releases
Fluent in written and spoken English
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
* Familiarity with financial or high-reliability systems (plus)
