Job Title:
IT Service Management Professional
Overview:
As an IT service management professional, you will oversee the delivery of key services, build strong partnerships with providers and stakeholders, and manage ongoing IT initiatives. Your mission will be to ensure seamless service delivery, drive performance improvement, and represent our organization at crisis meetings.
Responsibilities:
* Oversee service delivery of key services and take accountability for performance metrics.
* Build and maintain strong partnerships with providers, IT business partners, and stakeholders.
* Manage ongoing IT initiatives and onboard changes in a controlled fashion.
* Assist in reviewing and approving technical delivery concepts from providers.
* Drive regulatory and compliance topics with Provider Management and Risk chapters.
* Escalate performance issues and customer complaints to service owners and discuss with associate providers.
* Take ownership of major incidents and represent our organization at crisis meetings.
* Provide accurate and regular performance reports to management upon request.
Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years of experience in IT operations in a managed services environment.
* Experience dealing with third-party provided services.
* Exceptional customer-facing, communication, and reporting skills.
* In-depth knowledge of escalation procedures, incident management, and service delivery disciplines.
* Ability to manage and prioritize tasks efficiently.
* Solid resource planning and problem-solving skills.
* Knowledge of ITIL practices, processes, and principles and Project Management methodologies.
