A Snapshot of Your Day
In our HVDC Systems Team, we test and verify hardware and software for HVDC Projects, ensuring functionality and quality during commissioning worldwide. Our teams work closely with project management, engineering, and customers to provide customized HVDC solutions.
How You'll Make an Impact
- On-site commissioning of MV and LV auxiliary supply systems, including power transformers, DC chargers, battery systems, UPS, and diesel generators, along with control and protection systems.
- Commissioning of HV switchgear, instrument transformers, power transformers, auxiliary power systems, testing secondary circuits, and integrating into control & protection systems.
- Preparation of test documentation and revision of hardware drawings in collaboration with engineering.
- Timely and flawless test preparation, evaluation, and verification of results.
- Supporting commissioning management in quality, risk, and claim management.
- Participating in improvement programs like Lean, reviews, and lessons learned.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree or apprenticeship in electrical engineering or energy technology with relevant experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in MV and HV substations, including primary components.
- Good knowledge of secondary systems focusing on control, network protection, and interlocking.
- Experience with test equipment (e.g., Omicron), engineering tools (e.g., DIGSI), and knowledge of PLCs (e.g., Simatic TDC / S7).
- Knowledge or experience in electrical engineering and commissioning of power stations or HVDC systems.
- Proficient in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Willingness to travel worldwide, including long-term assignments on construction sites and offshore platforms.
- Team-oriented, communicative, proactive, with good conflict resolution and decision-making skills.
