Job Description

You will become a member of Ferring’s global ESG team, part of Group Finance, responsible for leading ESG data collection, reporting, analysis, and insights generation for Ferring Pharmaceuticals globally, working with key partners in the team and in other business functions. You will lead data collection for reporting, ensure validity, align with ESG standards, contribute to global reporting, define internal controls of ESG data, and ensure reporting is ready for assurance. Focus on GHG accounting and evolving data/metrics to align with business and stakeholder needs.
Responsibilities
* Lead the company’s overall approach to ESG data management, with a focus on GHG accounting and reporting
* Perform ESG data management and data collection programs
* Continuously improve standard reporting
* Ensure data aligns with appropriate ESG frameworks
* Own the company’s ESG data management software and drive its development
* Develop and lead internal and external data auditing and assurance
* Support ESG team and business contributors with data and insights to demonstrate progress and propose improvements
* Assist with various data-related projects as needed
Qualifications
* Bachelor\'s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Environmental Science, or data management
* At least 5 years of relevant work experience in financial or non-financial controlling, assurance/auditing, data management, ESG reporting, or related field
* Experience with reporting software and databases
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to interpret and report complex data
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
* Detail-oriented and highly organized; ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
* Familiarity with pharmaceuticals or life sciences industries is a plus
* Knowledge of ESG frameworks, standards, and regulations is a plus
