Supporting our leading retail client in Portugal, this role offers a unique opportunity to work with top Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) brands and shape the future of shopper analytics.
As the Manager of CPG Engagement, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring excellence in client support and relationship-building, including managing sales cycles. Your focus will be on supporting CPG manufacturers and Category Managers at Pingo Doce. Your responsibilities will include maintaining existing client relationships, achieving account objectives such as contract renewal and upsell management, and coaching clients to leverage SymphonyAI's products and services effectively.
Job Description
What Will You Be Doing? Reporting to the Director and Client Lead, you will:
* Manage and develop relationships with a portfolio of CPG clients and category teams at the retailer, fostering collaboration and utilization of shopper data and analytical tools.
* Lead daily client interactions, ensuring successful delivery of services including software training and support.
* Drive the effective use of web-based tools, customized reports, and analytics support services.
* Assist CPGs in aligning their brand strategies with the retailer's customer and business objectives.
* Coach CPG teams on leveraging our solutions to address key business questions.
* Support ongoing collaboration between CPGs and the retailer on current and emerging business issues.
* Build strong, lasting relationships across organizational levels and functions.
* Identify opportunities to improve business processes and engage leaders in these initiatives.
* Communicate product features, benefits, and value propositions clearly to various organizational levels to facilitate contract renewals and upsells.
* Provide accurate sales forecasts and progress reports, highlighting wins, account status, upcoming renewals, and growth opportunities.
What Will You Bring?
* Knowledge of category management within retail or FMCG environments.
* Excellent communication skills for explaining complex topics to diverse audiences.
* Experience in training and supporting clients with software solutions.
* Proven ability to build and maintain professional client relationships.
* Ability to work efficiently under deadlines.
* Strong consultative, communication, and project management skills.
* Proficiency in MS Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
