This is a great opportunity to explore different areas of Printed Electronics and Embedded Systems.As an Electronics Engineer, you will be involved in the design, prototyping, validation, and integration of electronic systems driving Ynvisible's printed e-paper displays.
Your work will include tasks such as:· Design and development of embedded systems, including hardware and firmware, to drive and control printed e-paper displays· Firmware development in C/C++ for microcontrollers and low-power devices· Integration of Ynvisible's printed e-paper displays into demonstrators, prototypes, and end-user products (e.g., IoT devices, smart labels, signs, wearables)· Design of test and control tools for internal development and production environments· PCB design (schematic capture, layout), assembly, and debugging – from prototype to production· Development and documentation of electronics-related processes, including test and characterization protocols· Collaboration with cross-functional teams to define electronics requirements and ensure seamless system integration· Development of scripts and tools (mainly in Python) for data acquisition, analysis, and visualization· Support in the development of technical documentation (datasheets, manuals, guidelines)The ideal candidateRecently graduated or with 1–4 years of experience in Electronics Engineering or a related fieldFluent in English, both spoken and writtenComfortable within embedded firmware development (C/C++)Familiarity with Python for data processing and tool developmentBasic knowledge in PCB design tools (e.g., Altium)Hands-on skills in prototyping, soldering, and debuggingKnowledge in instrumentation, electrical measurements, and test developmentUnderstanding of microcontrollers, communication protocols, and low-power designHands-on attitude, enjoys building and troubleshooting electronicsTeam player with the ability to work independently when neededDetail-oriented, organized, and proactive mindsetCurious, proactive, and open to working in a dynamic, multicultural environmentWhat we offerWe offer an employment contract in line with your level of experience and the responsibilities associated with your role.You will be working:in a dynamic, exciting, innovative, multicultural environmentwith a multidisciplinary team, including scientists, engineers, designers and business developersand collaborating with leading R&D centers, top industry specialists and global brand clients in Portugal and abroadin a flexible and evolving workspacewith the real possibility of building a relevant, rewarding career
