Procurement Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team in Ovar, Portugal.
* Main Responsibilities:
* Analyze purchase requisitions and place timely orders according to strategic category plans, supplier selection, and pricing guidelines.
* Collaborate with Transport Planners to organize transports and ensure smooth supply chain flow.
* Maintain close relationships with suppliers and provide feedback on their performance to support central category managers in evaluating suppliers.
* Solve potential invoice discrepancies due to quantity or price differences.
Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years experience in procurement or a related field.
* Excellent English language skills, both verbal and written.
* User-level knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel) and SAP.
* Able to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment.
* Resident in Ovar or nearby area.
