The property is a lifestyle resort undergoing a revamping plan to assume a prestigious 5-star international brand.
The resort is first line of sea, offering breathtaking views over the Atlantic Ocean, and will feature a lobby bar and two lifestyle restaurants with spacious terraces with panoramic views.
The health club will feature a gym and a spa with sauna, hamman, a double massage room and an exterior panoramic cabana for wellness treatments and activities.
The Housekeeping Staff will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of guest rooms, public areas, and other hotel facilities, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and comfort.
This role reports to the Rooms Department Executive and the Hotel Manager.
Main responsibilities include:
Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to hotel standards;
Change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish guest room supplies;
Vacuum, mop, dust, and sanitize all assigned areas;
Collect and dispose of waste properly;
Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate department;
Assist in the laundry process, including washing, drying, and folding linens and towels;
Ensure proper handling and storage of cleaning supplies and equipment;
Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a secure working environment;
Respond to guest requests for extra amenities or cleaning services in a timely manner;
Collaborate with the housekeeping team to maintain efficiency and high service quality.
Requisites:
Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles is preferred but not required;
Attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards;
Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
Strong sense of responsibility and reliability;
Physically capable of performing cleaning tasks, including lifting and bending;
Flexibility with work hours, including weekends and holidays;
Basic communication skills in Portuguese (English is a plus).
