P&L Controller
The Role is responsible for managing the Profit and Loss (P&L) function within an organization. This includes producing and validating daily and/or monthly P&L reports, establishing effective working relationships with various stakeholders, and providing full support to ALM/T and Global Market Trading Desks.
* Produce and validate official P&L figures and related explanations, investigating discrepancies with Front Office Predict when available.
* Review P&L Explain in depth and correct wrong effects if no technical solution can be found to overturn misallocations.
* Analyze differences against P&L Explain until the gap is understood and documented.
* Split economic PNL into liquidity and rate effects for ALMT perimeters.
* Produce hedge accounting controls for finance and FO where applicable.
* Submit P&L for sign-off to Front office officer.
* Challenging and enhancing existing processes.
* Fluency in English is required.
