We pride ourselves on fostering a culture of involvement, experience, and excellence.Join our team as aData Cloud Platform Architect(Hybrid – Porto)!What You'll Do:Design, build, and scale cloud-based data platforms primarily on AWS, with some exposure to AzureLead large-scale data migration and optimization initiativesDevelop and manage Infrastructure as Code (Ia C) using tools like TerraformBuild and maintain scalable, efficient data pipelines using best-practice cloud architecturesImplement and manage Iceberg tables for large-scale dataset storage and performance optimizationDevelop high-quality data solutions using Python and SQL, setting and enforcing coding standardsCreate Proofs of Concept (Po Cs) and production‐grade prototypes to define data engineering standardsOrchestrate workflows using Apache Airflow and AWS Step FunctionsDesign and operate ETL pipelines handling high-volume data, including streaming data where applicableEstablish and enforce data governance, security, and compliance standardsSet up, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data workloadsCollaborate with cross‐functional teams to deliver analytics and data engineering solutionsContribute to analytics and engineering tasks using Azure Databricks where applicableQualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experienceStrong hands‐on experience with AWS data services and exposure to Azure data servicesProven experience with Terraform or similar Ia C toolsDemonstrated leadership in large‐scale data migration and performance optimization projectsStrong programming skills in Python and SQLHands‐on experience with Iceberg tables and large dataset managementSolid understanding of AWS cloud architecture best practicesExperience with orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow and AWS Step FunctionsAbility to define, implement, and enforce data governance and security standardsExperience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for data engineering workflowsFluency in Portuguese and English (C1 level or higher)Living in Portugal and available to work in a hybrid model (Porto)Interested?
