IT Global Finance Lead (m/f/d) Olympus Medical Products Portugal is a subsidiary of the Olympus Group. Its core business is the repair of optical and digital equipment's of the brand, offering to Olympus customers repair services that meet highest demands in terms of speed, approachability, reliability and consistency.ResponsibilitiesAccountable for developing the annual IT financial plan and the long‐term (3–5 year) IT financial strategy in line with company and Global IT objectives.Evaluate Global IT's financial needs and define strategies to meet IT objectives.Develop, manage and control the Global IT budget, including monitoring actual spend against allocations and performing variance analyses.Provide enhanced insights into Global IT financial performance by designing dashboards, KPI reporting and best‐practice management reports; define reporting requirements and drive implementation with Finance.Identify, implement and track cost‐optimization initiatives across Global IT, including driving cloud cost management and functional cost center forecasting.Manage monthly, quarterly and year‐end forecasting and closings, coordinating bottom‐up and top‐down run‐rate forecasts from IT subfunctions in collaboration with Finance.Ensure compliance with company and Finance guidelines (including J‐SOX), manage IT‐specific financial risks and implement necessary controls.Build, develop and implement consistent IT service pricing, cost‐allocation and chargeback models as part of the Global IT service catalogue to reflect service consumption.Augment the Finance Financial Management Framework with IT‐specific elements (e.g., Opex vs Capex classification), define and run IT financial governance and IT‐specific financial policies.Streamline and automate IT financial processes (budgeting, forecasting, reporting) using enhanced tools and technology; manage communication with IT leadership, Finance and business units and lead the IT finance team (2–4 direct reports).QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics or equivalent related experience.Minimum 5 years' experience in IT financial management for a large IT unit.At least 5 years' experience in finance with progressive planning, forecasting, modelling and analysis in a multinational, multidivisional technology environment.Minimum 5 years' people‐leadership experience and 3–5 years building/managing teams, preferably across continents.Experience in project management and managing IT initiatives, including defining and implementing governance, facilitating decision‐making, and resource management.Experience managing people and financial processes, and mentoring or supporting team development.Proficiency with financial management tools such as Apptio, SAP, ServiceNow, Hyperion or similar platforms.Strong leadership, analytical and conceptual thinking; outcome orientation with excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with IT and Finance stakeholders.Professional AttributesMeticulous & Detail-Oriented: Ensures accuracy in equipment management, calibration checks, and documentation.Analytical & Problem-Solving: Interprets calibration results, identifies deviations, and implements corrective actions.Results‐Oriented & Decisive: Meets calibration deadlines and ensures operational reliability.Effective Communication: Collaborates with internal teams and external suppliers, ensuring clear documentation and compliance.Teamwork & Independence: Works autonomously on equipment monitoring while supporting cross‐functional initiatives.Commitment to Quality, Compliance & Safety: Upholds ISO 13485 standards, promotes a quality culture, and ensures safe, compliant operations.Commitment to diversity and inclusion.Compensation & Benefits Compensation:Competitive SalaryPermanent employment contractWell Being in Focus:Health InsuranceVacation Policy (24 vacation days, with additional days off for your birthday and December 24th)Free Curative Medicine24/7 Employee Assistance Program (EAP)Nutritional Options at Work (canteen with diverse meal choices including meat, fish, diet, vegetarian, and composed salads)Culture of development and learning:Unlimited Access to LinkedIn LearningInitial and continuous training aligned with your career goals.Other Benefits:Referral ProgramEngaging Events (Team buildings, holidays celebrations, and themed days)On‐site parking (for cars, motorcycles, and bikes, including electric car chargers)#J-18808-Ljbffr
