Field Service Engineer
We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our industry automation team in Portugal. The primary goal of this position is to deliver exceptional customer satisfaction by developing on-site installation, servicing and repair processes of complex automation equipment and systems.
Main Responsibilities:
* Customer Support: Provide remote and face-to-face support services effectively, responding to customer inquiries in an efficient and accurate manner, meeting or exceeding published SLA for Response and Resolution.
* Automation Projects: Implement small to large automation projects autonomously or integrated in a project team, adhering to design or installation specifications.
* Proactive Communication: Maintain proactive and timely communications, providing frequent and informative customer updates.
* Engineering Change Requests: Initiate engineering change requests, providing detailed descriptions of product faults, customer special requests, and product enhancements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical education background in electronics/electromechanics/industrial automation.
* Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Automation Systems (DCS, ESD, F&G, PLC, SCADA, etc) engineering, operations, or services support functions within the Industrial automation industry.
* Language Skills: Good English written and verbal skills, with good Portuguese written and verbal skills.
* Driving License: Possess a valid driving license.
* Availability: Availability to travel in-country and abroad, as required.
Desirable Experience:
* Experience with Honeywell process control systems.
* Previous industry experience, particularly in automation systems.
* Solid background in technology/installation/configuration/troubleshooting of IT systems (software and hardware).
