At PWG Portugal, we're committed to improve the quality of life, the comfort of doing business and the efficiency of industrial processes through our expertise and solutions to offer perfectly treated water for your houses, businesses, factories, hospitals, etc. As an ambitious Sales Manager with a strong Technical background, you develop sustainable and long-term customer relationships in water treatment, and boost sales further. Analyzing, developing, and expanding an existing customer base, strengthening recurring business, and identifying new customers and sales in the B2B segment. Preparing and negotiating project sales proposals, in line with the ambitious growth strategy Collaborating closely with customers' project managers, technical engineers, etc. to understand customer needs, recommend sustainable solutions, and commit to clear project planning. Develop sales of components to water treatment systems Following the chemical water treatment industrial and domestic applications of our customers Managing relationships with customers and the involved internal and external stakeholders, during the sales process, as well as, throughout project execution and after-sales service. Monitoring the market, new products, prices, competitors and trends. Identify new products/services to introduce in the Portuguese market. Being flexible with travel and location within Portugal, with office based in São Domingos de Rana. Being part of a dedicated water treatment sales team. Supporting on water treatment inventory management to optimize sales to customers Profile You hold a university or master's degree, ideally in chemical engineering or related subject. Experience in sector-related projects or with chemical water treatment installations and technologies is a significant advantage. A track record in sales & business development, with experience in a role where providing technical solutions to industrial clients is key, is also a relevant advantage. You are sales driven and results oriented You have an entrepreneurial spirit You have the skills to develop and support your existing customers' database and to acquire new ones. You set high standards, aiming for top-notch service for your customers, and believe in "making water count." You thrive in an SME environment with short decision-making processes. You are a fast learner team player, authentic, and ready to become part of the Pollet Group family. You are proficient in Portuguese, English and Microsoft Office applications.
