Design and Implement Cloud Data Platforms
As a Data Architect, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining data architectures on Azure and AWS, ensuring alignment with governance standards and cloud-native services. This role requires strong knowledge of data security, encryption, access management, compliance frameworks, and regulatory standards.
* Develop and maintain data platforms using PaaS and cloud-native services aligned with governance standards.
* Ensure cloud data platforms comply with organizational governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
* Define and enforce data governance, metadata management, and lineage practices across multi-tenant cloud environments.
* Collaborate with demand teams, business users, and governance stakeholders to align data quality, integration, and security requirements with enterprise standards.
* Propose and implement data platform solutions leveraging native Azure/AWS services, automation, and serverless technologies.
* Ensure security, compliance, and data protection requirements are integrated into data architectures.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* 7+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, or related Cloud Data roles, with at least 5 years in Azure and AWS.
* Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise data platforms, data lakes, data warehouses, and real-time pipelines in governed enterprise environments.
* Strong knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, big data platforms, data streaming, ETL/ELT frameworks, and APIs.
* Proficiency with Azure/AWS data services (e.g., Synapse, Data Factory, Databricks, Cosmos DB, Glue, Redshift, S3, DynamoDB).
* Knowledge of modern data architecture patterns (Data Mesh, Lakehouse, Event-driven, Serverless).
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
* Azure/AWS Data/Analytics or Solution Architect certifications are a plus.
* Strong ability to communicate clearly on data risks, governance, and business value to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
