Job Description:
The successful candidate will be part of a worldwide reference Research, Development and Innovation (R&D+I) cluster focused on strengthening hydrogen competitiveness and creation of new products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Elaborate Sustainability Analysis including Life Cycle Assessments, Life Cycle Costing and Social Life Cycle (including Labor) on support of several R&D projects focused on Green Hydrogen value chain.
* Collaboration in R&D projects associated to electrolyzes development and optimization, storage and transport of hydrogen as pure gas and as blend with NG, final delivery for domestic use, green hydrogen transformation into other energy carriers.
* Cooperation with project partners and identified stakeholders to collect and elaborate technical data for constructing Life Cycle Inventory in the three pillars of sustainability (environmental, economic and social).
Requirements:
* Master's degree in engineering, preferably in Chemical, Environmental, Mechanical, Process Safety, or a related field.
* Experience in Environmental Life Cycle Assessment, preferred experience in Social Life Cycle and Life Cycle Costing of industrial or multisectoral products and/or processes and circular economy strategies.
* SimaPro or Gabi expert, OpenLCA preferred. Knowledge of AspenPlus and industrial processes modeling.
* Programming skills in MATLAB, Python, C++ are advantageous.
