Your expertise will help shape the future of energy, particularly in new and green technologies, as you navigate the complexities of investment management.
How You'll Make An Impact
- You will oversee assigned investments, enhancing value and ensuring quality by taking on Board Director or Board Observer roles in portfolio companies.
- You will contribute to evaluating, managing, and mitigating investment risks throughout the investment lifecycle, from opportunity selection to asset management.
- You will support and manage investment portfolios and pipelines in close cooperation with relevant internal departments, responding swiftly to project-specific business needs.
- You will enhance investment practices by continuously improving targets, negotiation strategies, and governance documentation.
- You will control current and future shareholdings of assigned investment portfolios, ensuring compliance with global reporting requirements and maintaining data repositories.
What You Bring
- You hold a Master's degree or higher in Economics/Finance.
- You have a minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in Finance and an additional 2 years of specific experience in investment-related roles, including investment banking, private equity, or management consulting.
- You possess substantial experience in financial planning & analysis, modeling, valuation, and due diligence, in global projects.
- You are familiar with large-scale energy and infrastructure projects, with a strong understanding of project development and finance.
- You are adept in international negotiation and conflict resolution, with excellent organizational skills under tight deadlines.
- You have business fluency in English, with proficiency in German, Portuguese, and/or Spanish being a plus.
