As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Team Manager who will help strengthen this location and further professionalize our international collaboration.
Responsibilities
As Team Manager, you are responsible for the operational management and further development of the Porto office.
You safeguard quality, continuity, service levels, and compliance, while driving performance and continuous improvement.
You work closely with colleagues and management teams in the Netherlands and report directly to the Director of Backoffice in The Netherlands.
You will lead a team of around 15 professionals, with clear growth ambitions towards ***** employees as the Porto office continues to expand.
You play a key role in creating a strong, engaged team and in shaping sustainable growth for the Porto location.
You will be personally coached by your Director and supported through internal and external training programs to further develop your expertise in the mortgage domain.
What you will do
Provide clear direction to the local team in Porto and build a strong team culture.
Conduct performance and personal development planning in line with the HR cycle.
Support the further transfer and expansion of activities to Porto.
Manage daily operations, service levels (SLAs), productivity, and quality standards.
Translate the annual plan into concrete operational objectives and ensure delivery.
Initiate and drive process improvements focused on simplification, scalability, and efficiency.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Work closely with Dutch Operations and management teams.
Job requirements
University-level thinking and working ability.
Extended years of experience in an operational leadership role, preferably within financial services or a regulated BPO environment.
Proven experience in performance management, process optimization, and team development.
Strong communication skills and a hands-on, people-oriented leadership style.
Experience working in an international context.
Fluent in Portuguese and English; Dutch is a plus.

An annual salary between €22,084 and €29,482 gross based on 40 hours per week (grading based on knowledge and experience) and including meal allowance.
