Senior Commissioning Engineer - Contract Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Commissioning Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. As a Senior Commissioning Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring that building services systems are properly commissioned and meet the required standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the commissioning process to ensure timely delivery of high-quality results.
* Validate commissioning processes and results to ensure alignment with client requirements.
* Inspect existing systems to determine their performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
* Provide consultative advice on commissioning and performance requirements, strategies, and programs.
* Carry out measurements, surveys, and other technical inspections as required.
Additional Responsibilities:
* Engage with other team members to improve existing systems and procedures.
* Act as a champion for a specific technical interest area.
* Promote the company and wider group through marketing activities.
Requirements:
* A strong background in controls engineering is highly desirable.
* 4 years of industry experience dealing with mechanical, electrical, and controls disciplines.
* Excellent understanding of MEP systems, HVAC controls, and T&B process.
* Good computer skills and effective typing skills.
* Understanding of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Project software.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Familiarity with design documents, multidiscipline designs, and delivery of design & construction services.
* Strong knowledge of construction practices, systems engineering, operations fundamentals, contracting, and general business operations.
* Understanding of project accounting and financial management tools.
* Ability to prioritize and organize work; ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently.
