Description of Activities
Activities will be carried out within the Innovation Department. The trainee will join a team of eight R&D Engineers primarily focused on product development. The program will provide a comprehensive understanding of the sector and department, with a focus on synthetic yarns and tapes.
All necessary logistical and environmental conditions will be ensured to support learning and performance. The trainee will gain exposure to multiple aspects of industrial R&D, with continuous support from a senior professional.

Main Activities
Use company tools and resources to support and suggest improvements in product development planning
Interpret customer requirements and translate them into technical specifications
Prepare technical specifications and data to support marketing materials and manuals
Learn and apply quality-related requirements and support sales and marketing teams
Support the team in executing product development projects
Prepare and archive progress and final project reports
Draft new specifications in accordance with standards
Monitor tests, trials, and R&D production
Work in manufacturing environments when required
Organize and control project documentation
Perform additional tasks within the Synthetics Innovation Department as needed
Qualifications
Technical and Professional Skills
Strong theoretical knowledge in engineering
Ability to interpret and draft technical specifications
Digital literacy
Fluency in English

Requirements:
Bachelor's and Master's degree in Chemical Engineering
Registration with IEFP (Portuguese Employment and Vocational Training Institute)
