[carlyle.com], [craft.co] Your new role As Head of RunOps, you will lead the teams responsible for the operation, maintenance, and evolution of the bank's technological landscape — including Infrastructure, Databases, Security, Cloud/DevOps, Helpdesk, and Production Support. You will ensure the stability, security, and continuity of critical services while driving the technical implementation of architectural guidelines and overseeing corrective, preventive, and evolutionary maintenance. Working at the intersection of technology and business, you will shape hybrid infrastructure strategies (Cloud + On-Prem), promote automation and efficiency, and contribute to the organisation's broader transformation roadmap. Responsibilities Supervise daily IT operations, ensuring availability, integrity, and security of systems, infrastructures, and communications. Manage internal and partner capacities to guarantee corrective, preventive, and evolutionary maintenance of all foundational technology components. Monitor and enforce service levels, SLAs, delivery times, and support quality. Oversee incident, problem, and service request workflows end-to-end, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication. Ensure production deployments for all applications under the IT division. Monitor logs, performance, and security across applications and infrastructure. Provide reporting tools and produce management reports that support decision-making. Maintain and improve RunOps policies, processes, and procedures aligned with regulatory and internal standards. Ensure operational readiness and support for business continuity events across public and private hosting environments and data centres. Lead, coach, and develop multidisciplinary technical teams. What you'll need to succeed Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or similar. 10+ years of experience in IT Operations, Infrastructure Management or RunOps, ideally in banking or regulated sectors. Proven experience in Cloud transformation and outsourcing/BPO management. Solid knowledge of Windows, Linux, VMware, SQL/Oracle databases. Experience with monitoring tools, ITSM platforms (EasyVista, JIRA), automation frameworks (Terraform, Ansible), and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS). Strong leadership, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to operate in hybrid, complex, and fast-paced IT environments.
