As an Analyst in the EMEA Equity Research business, the role holder will be accountable to support more senior team members based in London on routine tasks in relation to model updates, market analysis and contributing to written research product.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Financial analysis and modelling of financial statements.
* Responding to client requests using relevant industry data sources.
* Assisting with the writing of research reports – everything from post results reports to in-depth industry reports.
* Idea generation for new research reports.
* Maintaining / improving the teams data infrastructure / products.
* Undertaking in-depth research into specific areas of interest.
* Monitoring of relevant news flows, industry developments.
* Deputising for the lead analyst with sales / clients / corporates when required.
The role may be carried out within a range of experience depending on the development of knowledge and skills in the role and the role-holder's ability to work with increased autonomy.
A Master's degree in Finance is required. Between 2 and 3 years of relevant experience in Finance, Credit Risk, Business Analysis is also required. Fluency in English both oral and written (mandatory) is required.
Knowledge in Financial Services Industry and a broad understanding and interest in wider capital markets is necessary. A good working knowledge of a wide range of BNPP Exane policies, procedures, regulations and legislation is also necessary.
Proficiency in Python, Office Pack, VBA, Tableau, SQL, Bloomberg is required.
