Location: Remote Overview of Role: The E-Commerce Product Merchandiser plays a key role in driving category performance, optimizing product assortment, and enhancing the online shopping experience.
This role partners closely with the Senior Merchandising Manager and cross functional teams, with ownership over key merchandising activities and performance areas.
The ideal candidate has a strong commercial mindset, is comfortable working autonomously, and can translate data and insights into actionable merchandising decisions.
What You'll Do: Merchandising Strategy & Ownership Execute and contribute to merchandising strategy with accountability for performance outcomes Analyze product and category performance to identify opportunities for growth and optimization Drive gap and competitive analysis to inform assortment decision Partner with Category Managers to influence product strategy and launches Support pricing and promotional decisions through data insights Site Merchandising & Execution Lead execution of merchandising for campaigns, launches, and seasonal collections Curate product assortments and landing pages Optimize onsite merchandising elements to improve customer experience and conversion Ensure accurate and commercially effective product presentation Product Lifecycle & Operations Manage product setup and data accuracy within PIM systems Oversee QA of product launches Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure timely delivery of assets Support product lifecycle management including end of life strategies Reporting & Optimisation Monitor and report on product and category performance Provide insights and recommendations to improve merchandising strategies • Manage ad hoc projects as required Requirements & Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Fluent in English required; German or another European language preferred 4+ years' experience in eCommerce merchandising or similar role Strong analytical skills with ability to drive insights into action Experience contributing to product assortment or commercial decisions Strong commercial awareness and understanding of eCommerce KPIs Ability to work autonomously in a fast paced environment Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) NATIONAL PEN is an industry leading global promotional products company, servicing over one million customers in more than twenty countries in North America, Europe, and Asia.
