Support the industrialization of Python developments by applyingdesign patterns, clean code principles, best practices, and development standards. Provide strongPython expertiseon technical topics, including code optimization, library recommendations, and performance improvements. Contribute to the creation and maintenance oftechnical documentationfor developed solutions and platform components. Participate in meetings withIT Cardif teamsto discuss technical requirements, standards, and solution design. Develop and optimizedata processing solutionsin a high-stakes, data-driven business environment. Support developers on the platform with apedagogical and collaborative approach, sharing best practices and technical guidance. Contribute to the broader ecosystem ofdata engineering, data exploration, data quality, and data manipulation. Work within anAgile environment, collaborating with Product Owners, Technical Leads, and cross-functional teams to deliver robust and scalable solutions.Profile: Strong experience inenterprise software development / Software Engineering, including tools such asGit, GitLab, and unit testing frameworks. Expertise inPython (3.9+)and its ecosystem, includingAnaconda, Jupyter, VS Code, and related development tools. Strong knowledge ofcomputational and data manipulation libraries, such asNumPyandPandas. Experience withparallelization and performance optimization, including technologies such asDask, Spark, GPU optimization, CUDA, and CuPy. Solid experience in industrializing Python developments, includingdevelopment standards, design patterns, TDD, and software engineering best practices. Ability to understandfunctional needsand translate them intotechnical requirements. Experience creating and maintainingPython packages. Stronganalytical skillsand ability to challenge project stakeholders when needed. Hands-on experience withDevOps and CI/CD tools, includingJira, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Artifactory, shell scripting, Docker, HashiCorp Vault, and JFrog. Knowledge ofcode quality and security tools, such asFortify, Nexus IQ, and SonarQube. Experience withdatabases, includingOracle, PostgreSQL, and Netezza. Knowledge offile and object storage management, includingS3, Boto3, IBM COS, and MinIO. Strong background inData Engineering, including data manipulation, exploration, and quality assurance. Comfortable working in ahigh-performance, business-critical, data-driven environment .Language Skills: Fluency inEnglishis mandatory.Additional Information: Hybrid / onsite context based inLisbon.
