SAP IT Tax ConsultantPorto, Portugal (Remote) | Automotive TechEnglish: Fluent | Freelance or PermanentBudget: OpenMust already be based in Portugal – no visa sponsorship or relocation.Role:Seeking an experienced SAP IT Tax Consultant to design, enhance, and support SAP tax and reporting solutions in a global Automotive Tech environment.Responsibilities:- Capture and analyze business requirements; advise on functionaland process solutions- Design and develop IT concepts aligned with business needs- Enhance SAP solutions for tax recording and reporting- Configure tax determination in SAP MM/SD and maintain FI tax codes- Integrate SAP Document & Reporting Compliance (DRC) for eInvoicing (ECC or Cloud)- Test programs, processes, and system functions- Support software selection; consult and train business teams- Collaborate with international, cross-functional teamsRequirements:- Experience in SAP Tax, Accounting, or IT Consulting- Strong knowledge of VAT and tax reporting- Accounting knowledge (AR/AP, GL)- Familiarity with eInvoicing platforms (e.G. PEPPOL)Technical Skills:- SAP ABAP / ABAP OO, Fiori, BTP- Custom reports and interfaces- Nice to have: Sovos, Deloitte taxCube, VertexMethodologies: Waterfall, Agile, JIRACertifications (Preferred): SAP Accounting, SAP DRCInterested?
