Senior Architect Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Architect to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert advice on urban and land use planning, as well as developing innovative and sustainable urban design solutions.
About the Project
The Guimarões Public Transport Decarbonisation project aims to deliver advisory support for the development of the Guimaraes Municipality Bus Rapid Transit and Sustainable Urban mobility plan projects. This project will involve working closely with the core team to accelerate the decarbonisation of the transport system in the municipality.
Key Responsibilities
* Developing Land Use and Urban Development Plans: The successful candidate will be responsible for developing land use and urban development plans at different stages of the project.
* Providing Expertise in Urban and Land Use Planning: The Senior Architect will provide expertise in urban and land use planning, with a minimum of 10 years' experience.
* Specific Knowledge and Experience: Specific knowledge and experience in Portugal cities and/or cities with historical heritage are considered assets.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Bachelor's Degree or higher in architecture or civil engineering, urban planning, and/or design. Additionally, you will need to have a working command of English and Portuguese languages.
