Responsabilities
Product Development Engineer – Electronics (m/f):
* Development of film capacitors according to customer requirements, international and internal regulations, and R&D procedures;
* Analyze customer specifications, new products, verify their feasibility, carry out initial design and initial calculation of variable costs and necessary investments;
* Cooperate with equipment construction engineers or equipment suppliers to specify and release new production equipment;
* Cooperate with Process and Production Engineering in quality improvement activities, yield, cost, problem product decision and complaint analysis;
* Advise and inform the Quality department for new test set-ups and interpretation of test results;
* Act as Project Leader and manage development projects with multidisciplinary teams.
Required Skills
* Degree in Electronics Engineering;
* Professional experience relevant to the position;
* Experience in automotive industry (preferred);
* Experience in project management (preferred);
* Knowledge of electronic circuits and power electronics;
* Knowledge of electrical and electronic components;
* Knowledge of FMEA, statistical process control;
* Interpretation of 2D drawings;
* Fluent in Portuguese and English, spoken and written, is mandatory;
* Good communication skills, interpersonal skills and teamwork spirit;
* Analytical and problem-solving skills;
* Initiative and dynamism.
