At ARGHOS, an Engineering and Consulting company within the AERNNOVA industrial group, we are looking for a Piping Inspector (Site) to join our team and collaborate with one of our main clients in the Oil & Gas industry, on a project located in Sines, Portugal.
You will be hired in Spain and work on-site in Sines, Portugal, as part of an international and collaborative project environment.
️ Key Responsibilities
* Support the Project QAQC Manager in Quality Control activities and act as Deputy QAQC Manager when required
* Act as QAQC / Inspection Representative, ensuring compliance with local regulations, project standards, and procedures
* Perform on-site QAQC and inspection activities (meetings, RFIs, inspections)
* Verify compliance with contractual and quality requirements during construction and installation activities
* Manage and update QAQC MS deliverables using applicable IT tools.
* Review contractor documentation, monitor KPIs, and report QAQC deviations, coordinating corrective actions until closure
* Contribute to technical evaluations and performance assessments of construction contractors and inspection agencies
Requirements
* Technical Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
* Minimum 3 years of on-site experience, preferably in piping works
* Languages: Spanish and English (B2); Portuguese highly valued
* Proven experience in piping construction activities on site
* Ability to report compliance with standards, construction codes, and project specifications
* Strong reporting skills, providing clear, precise, and accurate inspection reports
* Knowledge of NDT/ENDs (desired certifications)
* Level II Visual Welding Inspector certification (mandatory)
