What You'll Do?
Design, implement, and improve manufacturing processes for truck assembly and powertrain integration.
Create and update clear production documentation to keep everyone on the shop floor aligned.
Provide hands-on technical support to production teams, helping solve process challenges quickly.
Drive root cause analysis and implement fixes that boost quality and efficiency.
Play a key role in new model launches by collaborating closely with engineering, quality, and logistics teams.
Help specify and validate tools and equipment, working alongside maintenance and external partners.
Use production data and Lean Six Sigma tools to spot opportunities for continuous improvement and smoother operations.
Qualifications
What You Must Bring?
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- 5 or more years of experience in any engineering role, preferably in automotive or component production (Production, ME, Quality, R&D etc).
- Demonstrated experience in process engineering and equipment development, including 2D/3D CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, CATIA, SolidWorks).
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process validation techniques.
- Familiarity with automotive quality systems (IATF 16949, ISO 9001) and tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA).
- Fluent in Portuguese with conversational English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, MS Teams, and SharePoint.
- Strong communication skills and confidence in interacting with different levels of the organization.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Reside in or be willing to relocate to the Tramagal - Abrantes area (preferred).
